  2. <h3>Accessing Source</h3>
  3. <h3>Patches</h3>
  4. <p>You can <a href="/downloads/">download</a> fixes for particular releases
  5. of busybox, e.g. downloads/fixes-<em>major</em>-<em>minor</em>-<em>patch</em>/
  6. <h3>Anonymous Subversion Access</h3>
  7. We allow anonymous (read-only) Subversion (svn) access to everyone. To
  8. grab a copy of the latest version of BusyBox using anonymous svn access:
  9. <pre>
  10. svn co svn://busybox.net/trunk/busybox</pre>
  11. <p>
  12. The current <em>stable branch</em> can be obtained with
  13. <pre>
  14. svn co svn://busybox.net/branches/busybox_1_9_stable
  15. </pre>
  16. <p>
  17. If you are not already familiar with using Subversion, I recommend you visit <a
  18. href="http://subversion.tigris.org/">the Subversion website</a>. You might
  19. also want to read online or buy a copy of <a
  20. href="http://svnbook.red-bean.com/">the Subversion Book</a>. If you are
  21. already comfortable with using CVS, you may want to skip ahead to the <a
  22. href="http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.1/apa.html">Subversion for CVS Users</a>
  23. part of the Subversion Book.
  24. <p>
  25. Once you've checked out a copy of the source tree, you can update your source
  26. tree at any time so it is in sync with the latest and greatest by entering your
  27. BusyBox directory and running the command:
  28. <pre>
  29. svn update</pre>
  30. Because you've only been granted anonymous access to the tree, you won't be
  31. able to commit any changes. Changes can be submitted for inclusion by posting
  32. them to the BusyBox mailing list. For those that are actively contributing
  33. <a href="developer.html">Subversion commit access</a> can be made available.
