  1. Short: c
  2. Long: cookie-jar
  3. Arg: <filename>
  4. Protocols: HTTP
  5. Help: Write cookies to <filename> after operation
  6. ---
  7. Specify to which file you want curl to write all cookies after a completed
  8. operation. Curl writes all cookies from its in-memory cookie storage to the
  9. given file at the end of operations. If no cookies are known, no data will be
  10. written. The file will be written using the Netscape cookie file format. If
  11. you set the file name to a single dash, "-", the cookies will be written to
  12. stdout.
  13. This command line option will activate the cookie engine that makes curl
  14. record and use cookies. Another way to activate it is to use the --cookie
  15. option.
  16. If the cookie jar can't be created or written to, the whole curl operation
  17. won't fail or even report an error clearly. Using --verbose will get a warning
  18. displayed, but that is the only visible feedback you get about this possibly
  19. lethal situation.
  20. If this option is used several times, the last specified file name will be
  21. used.
