  24. .SH NAME
  25. CURLOPT_FORBID_REUSE \- make connection get closed at once after use
  26. .SH SYNOPSIS
  27. .nf
  28. #include <curl/curl.h>
  29. CURLcode curl_easy_setopt(CURL *handle, CURLOPT_FORBID_REUSE, long close);
  30. .fi
  31. .SH DESCRIPTION
  32. Pass a long. Set \fIclose\fP to 1 to make libcurl explicitly close the
  33. connection when done with the transfer. Normally, libcurl keeps all
  34. connections alive when done with one transfer in case a succeeding one follows
  35. that can re-use them. This option should be used with caution and only if you
  36. understand what it does as it can seriously impact performance.
  37. Set to 0 to have libcurl keep the connection open for possible later re-use
  38. (default behavior).
