  25. CURLOPT_MAIL_RCPT \- list of SMTP mail recipients
  26. .SH SYNOPSIS
  27. .nf
  28. #include <curl/curl.h>
  29. CURLcode curl_easy_setopt(CURL *handle, CURLOPT_MAIL_RCPT,
  30. struct curl_slist *rcpts);
  31. .SH DESCRIPTION
  32. Pass a pointer to a linked list of recipients to pass to the server in your
  33. SMTP mail request. The linked list should be a fully valid list of
  34. \fBstruct curl_slist\fP structs properly filled in. Use
  35. \fIcurl_slist_append(3)\fP to create the list and \fIcurl_slist_free_all(3)\fP
  36. to clean up an entire list.
  37. When performing a mail transfer, each recipient should be specified within a
  38. pair of angled brackets (<>), however, should you not use an angled bracket as
  39. the first character libcurl will assume you provided a single email address
  40. and enclose that address within brackets for you.
  41. When performing an address verification (VRFY command), each recipient should
  42. be specified as the user name or user name and domain (as per Section 3.5 of
  43. RFC5321).
  44. When performing a mailing list expand (EXPN command), each recipient should be
  45. specified using the mailing list name, such as "Friends" or "London-Office".
