  24. .SH NAME
  25. CURLOPT_SSH_PUBLIC_KEYFILE \- public key file for SSH auth
  26. .SH SYNOPSIS
  27. .nf
  28. #include <curl/curl.h>
  29. CURLcode curl_easy_setopt(CURL *handle, CURLOPT_SSH_PUBLIC_KEYFILE,
  30. char *filename);
  31. .SH DESCRIPTION
  32. Pass a char * pointing to a \fIfilename\fP for your public key. If not used,
  33. libcurl defaults to \fB$HOME/.ssh/id_dsa.pub\fP if the HOME environment
  34. variable is set, and just "id_dsa.pub" in the current directory if HOME is not
  35. set.
  36. If NULL (or an empty string) is passed, libcurl will pass no public key to
  37. libssh2, which then tries to compute it from the private key. This is known
  38. to work with libssh2 1.4.0+ linked against OpenSSL.
  39. The application does not have to keep the string around after setting this
  40. option.
  41. .SH DEFAULT
