  1. Long: ftp-pasv
  2. Help: Use PASV/EPSV instead of PORT
  3. Protocols: FTP
  4. Added: 7.11.0
  5. See-also: disable-epsv
  6. Category: ftp
  7. Example: --ftp-pasv ftp://example.com/
  8. ---
  9. Use passive mode for the data connection. Passive is the internal default
  10. behavior, but using this option can be used to override a previous --ftp-port
  11. option.
  12. If this option is used several times, only the first one is used. Undoing an
  13. enforced passive really isn't doable but you must then instead enforce the
  14. correct --ftp-port again.
  15. Passive mode means that curl will try the EPSV command first and then PASV,
  16. unless --disable-epsv is used.
