12345678910111213141516171819
  1. Long: trace-ascii
  2. Arg: <file>
  3. Help: Like --trace, but without hex output
  4. Mutexed: trace verbose
  5. Category: verbose
  6. Example: --trace-ascii log.txt $URL
  7. ---
  8. Enables a full trace dump of all incoming and outgoing data, including
  9. descriptive information, to the given output file. Use "-" as filename to have
  10. the output sent to stdout.
  11. This is very similar to --trace, but leaves out the hex part and only shows
  12. the ASCII part of the dump. It makes smaller output that might be easier to
  13. read for untrained humans.
  14. This option is global and does not need to be specified for each use of
  15. --next.
  16. If this option is used several times, the last one will be used.
