  25. .TH CURLINFO_FTP_ENTRY_PATH 3 "12 Sep 2015" libcurl libcurl
  26. .SH NAME
  27. CURLINFO_FTP_ENTRY_PATH \- get entry path in FTP server
  28. .SH SYNOPSIS
  29. .nf
  30. #include <curl/curl.h>
  31. CURLcode curl_easy_getinfo(CURL *handle, CURLINFO_FTP_ENTRY_PATH, char **path);
  32. .fi
  33. .SH DESCRIPTION
  34. Pass a pointer to a char pointer to receive a pointer to a string holding the
  35. path of the entry path. That is the initial path libcurl ended up in when
  36. logging on to the remote FTP server. This stores a NULL as pointer if
  37. something is wrong.
  38. The \fBpath\fP pointer will be NULL or pointing to private memory you MUST NOT
  39. free - it gets freed when you call \fIcurl_easy_cleanup(3)\fP on the
  40. corresponding CURL handle.
  41. .SH PROTOCOLS
  42. FTP(S) and SFTP
  43. .SH EXAMPLE
  44. .nf
  45. CURL *curl = curl_easy_init();
  46. if(curl) {
  47. curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_URL, "ftp://example.com");
  48. res = curl_easy_perform(curl);
  49. if(!res) {
  50. /* extract the entry path */
  51. char *ep = NULL;
  52. res = curl_easy_getinfo(curl, CURLINFO_FTP_ENTRY_PATH, &ep);
  53. if(!res && ep) {
  54. printf("Entry path was: %s\\n", ep);
  55. }
  56. }
  57. curl_easy_cleanup(curl);
  58. }
