  26. .SH NAME
  27. CURLINFO_SSL_ENGINES \- get an slist of OpenSSL crypto-engines
  28. .SH SYNOPSIS
  29. .nf
  30. #include <curl/curl.h>
  31. CURLcode curl_easy_getinfo(CURL *handle, CURLINFO_SSL_ENGINES,
  32. struct curl_slist **engine_list);
  33. .fi
  34. .SH DESCRIPTION
  35. Pass the address of a 'struct curl_slist *' to receive a linked-list of
  36. OpenSSL crypto-engines supported. Note that engines are normally implemented
  37. in separate dynamic libraries. Hence not all the returned engines may be
  38. available at runtime. \fBNOTE:\fP you must call \fIcurl_slist_free_all(3)\fP
  39. on the list pointer once you are done with it, as libcurl will not free the
  40. data for you.
  41. .SH PROTOCOLS
  42. All TLS based ones.
  43. .SH EXAMPLE
  44. .nf
  45. CURL *curl = curl_easy_init();
  46. if(curl) {
  47. CURLcode res;
  48. struct curl_slist *engines;
  49. res = curl_easy_getinfo(curl, CURLINFO_SSL_ENGINES, &engines);
  50. if((res == CURLE_OK) && engines) {
  51. /* we have a list, free it when done using it */
  52. curl_slist_free_all(engines);
  53. }
  54. curl_easy_cleanup(curl);
  55. }
  56. .fi
  57. .SH AVAILABILITY
  58. Added in 7.12.3. Available in OpenSSL builds with "engine" support.
  59. .SH RETURN VALUE
  60. Returns CURLE_OK if the option is supported, and CURLE_UNKNOWN_OPTION if not.
