Hi. Is there an option to add channels 12 and 13 to Libre CMC? I have a router TP-LINK WR841 v 9. I would like to have these channels permanently without changing the wifi transmission power. So that factory reset does not block these channels. That wifi power was still at 23 db. I live in Poland but I need wifi 23 db.

You would need to make sure that the country code is set correctly and that you are legally allowed to operate on channels 12 and 13. Even if the country code is set correctly, the router might have other limits which will cause it to not operate properly on channels 12/13, depending on where it was purchased.

If setting the country code over ssh / cli, make sure :

option country 'PL' exists or is set in /etc/config/wireless

Under luci:

1) Go to Network -> Wireless

2) Click the "edit" button under the wireless network.

3) Under "Device Configuration", click the "Advanced Settings" tab

4) Select the appropriate country code.

5) Click "Save & Apply"

6) Channels 12 and 13 should now be available; you may need to restart the router for all of the changes to take effect.

So that factory reset does not block these channels.

If you bought the router from a US vendor, you will always have to set this when configuring the router. This is due to 1) finding your exact region is complicated / would lead to privacy issues 2) The default region data is contained in the ART (Atheros Radio Test) section of flash which does have some regulatory data in it.
