Apparently LibreSSL is more secure than openssl and uses more modern principles. It is made by OpenBSD devs though, but it is under a libre license.

If you don't plan to change or add it as an option, feel free to close this, I just thought I should make a request in case security is important.

Though I would like to hear your reason why not if you do close it.

The idea has been revisited every so often and it might be time to look at it again.

Okay, well if you can, that would make librecmc way more secure.

I never even realized you revisited this idea previously. But yeah, it sounds like a good idea. Although I am also concerned about the microsoft loves linux bs. and the fact that the linux kernel is being made without security in mind. I wonder if you should also harden the kernel as well. Well either way, I appreciate you hearing me out. :)
