Currently there is no way to get notified when a new libreCMC release is issued.

gogs does not send email notifications for new releases, even when watching the libreCMC project. gogs also has no support for RSS.

I guess the easiest way now would be to publish new releases in the News page and provide a RSS feed for it. Could you please do that?

If email notifications from gogs are not possible for some reason, I'd prefer the announcements in the mailing list. The project already has two mailing lists set up (see https://librecmc.org/contact.html ). For the end users this does not require any additional software for RSS reading, and not every email provider has integration with RSS (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Announcements on the mailing list would do the trick for me.
