Hi guys, I wanted to give the router to a friend, arrrived at him and I performed a reset via physical button in the back of the router. After that, the internet led stays lit on red, always. I cannot login to web interface. Telnet is also not able to login. What can I do, did I bricked it? Thanks.

Not too much to go on here.

  • What version of libreCMC was flashed to the router?
  • How long / when was the reset button pressed? If it's pressed while the router is powered on, it can be stuck in u-boot. Pressing it after the SYS light (Gear) starts to flash will put it in failsafe mode, in which case, it won't issue IP addresses and connected clients need to have their IP address set.
  • Telnet is not used anymore, ssh root@192.168.10.1

I am not sure,m i think it was the one before 1.5.4. The button was pressed more than 30 seconds, and then rebooted. It was pressed while it was powered on also... I try ssh root then. Telnet was not working. Thanks.

The cables are where they should be. Or not?

Yes, the cable from PC was in one of the 4 ports. On the blue single port there was no cable.

However, after letting it powered on many hours, the red light went off and it is now again with green lights. Probably it was a timer that expired. Anyway, I am happy it is now working again... Thank you.
