If I build the image for TL-WR1043-v4, the script stops at the step when downloading 'linux-libre-4.14.294-gnu1.tar.xz'. The checksum of the downloaded file doesn't match with the expected one.
Since this was true for all mirrors, I tried adapting the checksum for the kernel file in '../librecmc/include/kernel-version.mk', which in turn raises another error: Fileformat not recognized. The downloaded file is only 4.2kb in size.
