  16. When invoked without options,
  17. this simple local news service
  18. prints files that have appeared in
  19. .BR /lib/news
  20. since last reading, most recent first,
  21. with each preceded by an appropriate header.
  22. The time of reading is recorded.

  26. Print all items, regardless of currency.
  27. The recorded time is not changed.

  30. Report the names of the current items without
  31. printing their contents, and without changing
  32. the recorded time.
